Do you want to build your business vocabulary? Do you want to use your English at work? Do you struggle to find business content online? This short course is for you.
If you are learning English, building your vocabulary for work should be a priority. But not all courses give you access to business-related content. Some will have topics on traveling, some on history, current events.
Here, you have a short course on business vocabulary divided into categories of the business world. Between 25 and 45 words per category have a definition, have an audio explanation, an image, or sometimes a video to illustrate what it is. The categories are:
- Marketing
- Advertising
- Branding
- E-marketing
- Human resources
- Training
- Job hunting
- Finances
- Accounting
- Information technology
- Production and manufacturing
- Corporate law
- Real Estate
The level for the class is Beginner, but all the course is in English. So, you should be comfortable enough in English to understand some basic information.
The course is a little over 60min in duration and has around 400 words in the various categories. Not all the words necessary in the business environment, but a good enough amount to get you started. From there, even the definitions should provide you with other opportunities to build your English.
This should be fun and should expand your business vocabulary. Enjoy.
Your Instructor
Good day. I am the director of Langage d’ici, a private language school in operation since 1991 in the region of Montreal (Quebec) Canada. Our primary objective is to teach adults as part of their work, whether on-site in a company or remotely. Over the years, we have trained the employees of just over 400 companies, some of the largest in North America.
I have a bachelor's degree in education and an MBA in marketing and business strategy. For some time now, I have been on the Teachable platform to post courses related to my areas of expertise.
